It's still possible to install Windows 11 without a Microsoft account: Learn how to do it

Microsoft is doing everything possible to make Windows users have to create an account, but so far it has been very flexible in not forcing anyone to do so. However, things changed in 2020 when a Microsoft account became required to install Windows 10.

Therefore, we expected a similar obligation in Windows 11 and, of course, the company Redmon fulfilled. Initially, the Microsoft account was only required for the Home version, but now, even the Pro version is mandatory.

This is because recently , the publisher announced that users will also need to create an account to install the Pro version of their latest operating system. There will be no more loopholes for those who were still reluctant to give in to pressure, at least in theory. In practice, there are still solutions to circumvent this situation.

A first solution is to invoke the OOBE\BYPASSNRO command in the Windows terminal. This method has already proven itself, but today we are going to look at another simpler and equally effective solution. Here is the procedure to follow:

  1. Start by starting the Windows 11 installation process
  2. After accessing the Microsoft account login screen , enter a fake email address
  3. At the password screen enter a sequence of random characters
  4. Windows 11 will display an error message but allow you to continue with the installation.
  5. Click Next
  6. Then enter your profile name and click Next
  7. Instead of typing a password, press Enter

The installation will complete until you are redirected to the Windows 11 desktop. You will then have access to the operating system without having to create a Microsoft account.

Note that this solution is working for now, but it may only be temporary.
